Evelyn Torres is a Partnerships Strategist and civic leader from the Bay Area, influenced by her Peruvian immigrant roots and holding a B.A. in Latino/a Studies from San Francisco State University. She builds strategic coalitions across nonprofit, government, and philanthropic sectors to promote equitable public policy for Latino and marginalized communities.
Evelyn founded the Latino Young Democrats of the East Bay and served as the California Region 1 Vice Chair of the Chicano/Latino Caucus. Her experience spans leading political campaigns at various levels of government, including serving as Campaign Manager for Congresswoman Barbara Lee. Over the past decade, she has raised more than $5 million through political fundraising and PACs, managed diverse teams, and fostered lasting partnerships with foundations and government agencies.
As an alumna of the Coro Women in Leadership program, Evelyn combines strategic vision with operational rigor to drive measurable, long-term impact.
