Diane Le has worked as a political finance professional since 2011. Prior to Close the Gap, she served as Development Director at Emerge, a partner organization with a shared mission to recruit and empower women into elected office.
Additionally, she has fundraised for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, U.S. Senator Alex Padilla, an independent expenditure in support of Vice President Kamala Harris, Clinton Global Initiative, Common Sense Media, Assemblywoman Buffy Wicks, San Francisco Mayor London Breed, Mayor Ed Lee, the San Francisco Democratic Party, among others. In 2020, Diane was elected the President of the California Young Democrats (CYD) for two terms, serving as the first woman President in 10 years.
Having immigrated from Vietnam, her passion for progressive politics stems from a desire to provide opportunities for those who have been disenfranchised and uplifting communities in need.
Diane graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Political Science. She lives in San Francisco with her tuxedo cat named Karma.
