Kim Huynh

An English major and senior at Stanford University, Kim is currently writing her Honors thesis on Vietnamese American literature and contemporary author Monique Truong. She is president of the Stanford chapter of Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority, Inc., an Asian-interest Greek organization focused on combating violence against women, and a workshop leader for the Acquiring Skills and Knowledge Project, through which she teaches negotiation skills to high school and middle school girls at the Clayman Institute for Gender Research. In 2012 Kim was first runner-up to Miss Vietnam of Northern California Intercollegiate, and has plans upon graduation to compete for Miss Asian America and pursue a career in law.
