Jackie Wheeler has spent forty years working in the field of assistive technology for people with disabilities, including fifteen as a director of sales providing educational assistive technology for students worldwide. She is a frequent a speaker, contributor, and presenter at conferences regarding assistive technology, and is honored to be an American Foundation for the Blind Legends and Pioneers in Blindness Assistive Technology. Jackie is currently a board member of the Center of Accessible Technology in Oakland, past board positions include Technology for Reading and Learning Disabilities, the Center for Electronic Studying Advisory, an auxiliary benefiting the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, and the Gunn Educational Foundation. She graduated from San Jose State University with a BS in Marketing, and has been politically active throughout her career-whether through campaign work or as an active member of the League of Women Voters. Jackie is a long time resident of Palo Alto with 3 married children and 8 grandchildren.
