Hon. Marguerite Archie-Hudson

Education has always come first for Assemblywoman Archie-Hudson. While serving in the Assembly in the mid-1990s, she served as the Chair of the Committee on Higher Education, acting as a leading voice in opposition to Proposition 209 the state initiative seeking to end affirmative action in California public colleges and universities.
