Ennette currently serves as a University Administrator and educator/advocate on women’s leadership. Prior to her position in higher education, she served in senior management roles for the City of Riverside. She started her professional career working as a Publicist for a variety of television and feature film production companies in Hollywood. Ennette is a life-long learner who is passionate about education. She received her doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University, an MBA from Pepperdie’s Graziadio School of Business and Management, and bachelor’s degree in Communications from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. She was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown to the California Cultural and Historic Endowment Board, is an Emerge CA alumni, a former commissioner for the Riverside County Commission on Women, and an elected board member of the Long Beach Democratic Club. Ennette lives in Long Beach with her husband James Trotter, and has a daughter who currently attends Cal State Fullerton.
