Young Elected Officials Women’s Caucus Power Lunch

May 15, 2014 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The YEO Network, a program of People For the American Way Foundation, is the first national initiative to provide a network of support to federal, state, and local elected officials ages 35 and under who share the values of freedom, fairness, and opportunity. It was developed by young elected officials and continues to be led by them; by honoring the commitment of being “of, by, and for” young electeds themselves, the Network is unique in using a holistic and participatory model of leadership development.

Four years ago, the Network developed the Women’s Caucus to meet the particular and self-identified needs of our women members. Through this caucus, the Network complements the work of our partners by providing opportunities for training to women already in office, as well as critical peer support and networking. We work closely with our partners to equip women elected officials with the best research, tools, and resources to ensure their continued success in office and a consistent pipeline of services and support.
