Trust Women: Social Justice Campaign for Birth Control and Reproductive Rights

June 3, 2014 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

We’re kick-starting a national conversation about contraception and people’s rights, through

social and mainstream media, and out loud in coffee shops and living rooms! Join us for a look at our

#TheEveryWoman campaign, and a discussion of the current issues and controversies surrounding

the coverage of contraception, why it’s directly linked to social and economic justice, and next steps

for advocates in organizing to reduce reproductive health injustice and inequality.

Lisa Kipersztok, presenting, is a Lisa Kernan Social Justice

Fellow at the Center for Policy Analysis on Trade and Health,

focusing on health inequities and reproductive justice and the

Trust Women/Silver Ribbon Campaign. She is a 4th year medical

student also pursuing a Masters of Public Health, and a

reproductive health and rights leader at Tufts University School

of Medicine.
