She Should Run/ New Organizing Institute – Webinar

July 24, 2013 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Next Wednesday (24th), from 12:00 to 1:00 pm EST, join Name It. Change It. for an enlightening, empowering webinar hosted with NOI (New Organizing Institute), highlighting best practices for fighting back against media sexism. The webinar, “Don’t Turn the Other Cheek to Media Sexism,” is your chance to learn the tools that women candidates and third party validators use to repair the damage done to their campaigns—and even gather more support than they had before.

For far too long, sexist attacks in the media have been damaging the campaigns and careers of women candidates. Name It. Change it., a project of She Should Run and its partner Women’s Media Center, released groundbreaking research that proves all sexism damages a woman candidate’s standing with voters – whether it’s heightened scrutiny of her appearance, sexism masked as a compliment, or using gendered language to attack the candidate.

Want to learn how to take a stand against sexism? All you have to do is register by July 19th.
