On the Agenda: Labor 101

February 25, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The Labor Movement is the nation’s single largest organization representing the interests of women and people of color. Unions have also led our nation toward a stronger middle class and the elimination of income inequality. Yet, many people know very little about who they are and what they do.
Join Run Women Run and the Labor Council for a 90-minute presentation that covers their history, structure, and issues, with a particular emphasis on the legal and political barriers to the expansion of union membership and the challenges working families in San Diego face.
