International Association for Feminist Economics
22nd IAFFE Annual Conference
The 2013 IAFFE conference theme, “Feminist Economists’ Perspectives on Women’s Education and Work Across the Globe,” is intended to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue on the issues facing women’s access to work and education across the globe. In addition to regular presentations, we invite everyone to organize sessions and present papers using the feminist perspective to analyze the multiple aspects of educational attainment and work opportunities facing women today.
IAFFE has a Paper Submission Policy that reflects our desire to promote opportunities for wide participation among individuals. The following guidelines apply to the submission of papers for the IAFFE Annual Conference:
Participants are limited to two appearances on the annual program (excluding the role of chair)
Participants are limited to one formal paper and one informal roundtable discussion
Participants are free to be a co-author on a second paper so long as the co-author is presenting the paper
None of the limitations would exclude a participant from chairing a session
Please note that once you have submitted your abstract you will not be able to edit it
Paper Submissions: The submission deadline has now passed.
The pre-conference workshop is designed for scholars and activists new to feminist economics. It provides presentations by established scholars in the field. This year we will be presenting topics such as feminist economic methodologies; caring labor; women, work and migration; race and gender in the American economy; global perspectives on gender and economics; and publishing feminist economic research.
The Pre-Conference workshop will be held in the Fisher Conference Center in rooms Lane, Lyons and Ladato.
