Carolyn Inmon is the co-author with Tanya Brown of “The Seven Characters of Abuse. Domestic Violence: Where It Starts and Where It Can End.” She works to prevent domestic violence and child abuse. Her book is about the non-physical aspects of domestic abuse which is where abuse begins.
Carolyn’s record of community service is long and shows a caring for the community, especially children and seniors. She has several city appointments including the Irvine Child Care Committee, Irvine Children Youth Families Advisory Committee and the Senior Citizens Council. She has been recognized for her service by many national, state, and local organizations. Her national service awards include Phi Theta Kappa (academic honorary) and Phi Rho Pi (forensics honorary). State service awards include California Community College Forensics Association and the Honors Council of California where she served as President.
